Sri Lanka After Anuradhapura and Sigiriya we wanted to head to the East Coast and one stop on our way, we were told not to miss on our journey through Sri Lanka, was Pollonaruwa. Sri Lanka After hopping off the train and walking past the usual Tuk Tuk drivers you see at every bus station or train station, we saw the first big old trees and rice fields in the distance. Sri Lanka Even though it has not even been a timespan of more than half a day (5 hours in total) I think our first Sri Lankan train ride has earned its own little blog post with lots of pictures.
